In this case, a Moderator is one who presides over a meeting, forum or debate.

In this case, a Moderator is one who presides over a meeting, forum or debate. Incorrect. A moderator is a person who is given certain powers and moderates a forum. Hence the term moderator. When I mean moderate a forum, I mean take care of the forum, making sure people do not fight, spam is dealt with and troublemakers warned/punished. He is something like a mini-admin, as admins cannot be at all places and be on at all tiems.

Contradicting yourself. You said use www.dictionary.com. The meaning of 'Moderators' was from that website. Now you correct that meaning. Make up your mind.
